It's Hard to Play the Game If You Don't Know the Rules

It is hard to play the game if you don't know what the rules are, isn't it?

I think life is like that. If you don't understand what your role is, then it is really hard to do the right thing.

HERE IS WHAT YOUR ROLE IS!

The Westminster Catechism says it best, "The chief aim of man is to Glorify God."

That is your job. Glorify God in all things. All things easy and all things difficult.

If you look at every difficult situation as merely an opportunity to demonstrate the Glory of God to someone who doesn't understand the Glory of God, then the difficult situations are not so painful, because it is no longer about you, it is all about glorifying God.

We glorify God by demonstrating Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control.

The more difficult the situation, the more glory God receives.

James 1:2
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
NKJV

Easy? NO!!! But at least now you know what your role is.
